about choosing your seminar
英語英文学科では、３年次よりゼミが始まります。ゼミは半期２単位で、卒業要件として課されるゼミ卒業論文は８単位となっています。学科には第７志望のゼミまでを記入した書類を提出する必要があります。
In the Department of English Language and Literature, students begin taking seminars in their 3rd year. A seminar is 2 credits per semester, and the graduation thesis, which is required for graduation, is 8 credits. You need to submit a form to the department stating up to your seventh seminar choice.
ゼミ選択にあたっては、ネット上や他人から見聞きした情報のみに頼らず、ぜひゼミ見学をして、実際に直接先生や現役ゼミ生とお話をすることを推奨します。
自分が興味や問題意識を持てる内容、居心地の良いゼミを選択できるようにしましょう。先生方による公式のゼミ紹介はこちらから閲覧できます。我々もお手伝いできますので、お気軽に相談してくださいね！
When choosing a seminar, DO NOT rely solely on what you see or hear on the Internet or from others, but rather visit the seminars and talk directly with the instructors and their students.

原田ゼミの選考フロー
our screening process
原田ゼミでは、以下のように新ゼミ生の選考を行います（ゼミ生は選考に関わりません）。

関心のある分野などに関する課題（英語、A4数枚程度）

原田先生との面談（日本語＋英語）
At this Seminar, the selection process for new seminar students is as follows (seminar students are NOT involved in the process at all):

Assignment on a field of interest (in English, about several A4 pages)

Interview with Prof. Harada (Japanese + English)
ゼミ見学
seminar tour
原田ゼミでは、毎年11月ごろ、３週程度にわたってゼミ見学の時間を設けています。ゼミが長時間に及びますので、途中参加・途中退室も歓迎です。昼休みだけの参加も可能です。気になる方はお気軽にいらしてくださいね！
Every year in November, we hold a seminar tour for about three weeks. Since the seminar is long, you don't need to stay in the seminar from the beginning to the end. Participation only during lunch break is also welcome. If you are interested, please feel free to come and see us!
